Seekers' Page
The Seekers' Page is designed to provide background information for understanding the philosophy that we believe is behind Harry Potter. This philosophy is universal and timeless. Here you will find books and links on subjects such as alchemy, psychology, and various religious and spiritual ideas and systems.
We are putting a special emphasis on the alchemical version of this philosophy as Jo Rowling is using alchemical symbols quite widely.
Books for Seekers
Our Books for Seekers section is to help you find books which, in our opinion, explain aspects of the philosophy underlying "Harry Potter".

The Yahoo discussion group: Summa Scientia

Summa Scientia is a group under the aegis of "Harry Potter for Seekers". Our aim is to discuss the Path of Liberation which is symbolically indicated by Harry Potter. The teachings of liberation from suffering, sorrow and death have been handed down to humanity in legends, myths and spiritual epics for many thousands of years. All these works, including the Bible, the Corpus Hermeticum, The Alchemical Wedding of Christian Rosycross, the Tao Teh Ching and the teachings of the Buddha, as well as the writing of modern authors such as Bailey, Blavatsky, Heindel, Steiner and Van Rijckenborgh are discussed here.
We study the Path that was trodden by the pupils of the ancient Mystery Schools, the Gnostics, the Alchemists, and the Rosicrucians. Their teachings are all symbolically hidden in Harry Potter. When the emphasis is mainly on Harry Potter the discussion is held in HarryPotterforSeekers, but when the emphasis shifts away to more general spiritual subjects we discuss them in this group.
Our group motto is SUMMA SCIENTIA NIHIL SCIRE: "The highest knowledge is to know nothing" - The Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosycross.
The group is open to all members of the public who are interested in the teachings of liberation.
